Enjoy a 10 days luxury savannah experience in Africa’s prime safari destination, Kenya. Discover snow-capped mountains, savanna grasslands and enjoy spectacular game drives amongst some of the best game viewing areas in Kenya.
- Chyulu Hills – Often called the “Green Hills of Africa,” are a stunning volcanic mountain range located between Amboseli and Tsavo National Parks in southeastern Kenya. This is a less-visited but incredibly rewarding destination for those seeking a more rugged, wild, and off-the-beaten-path safari experience.
- Maasai Mara – A Maasai Maravast wilderness that is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem in Tanzania. It is renowned for its abundant wildlife, sweeping savannahs, and the unique culture of the Maasai people.
- Samburu Game Reserve – A captivating safari destination that offers a starkly different landscape and wildlife experience – most famous for its unique wildlife adapted to the dry, arid conditions. These five species, often called the “Samburu Special Five,”
- Laikipia Wilderness – A remarkable wilderness area that offers a distinct and often more exclusive safari experience than the country’s national parks. Day 1 – 2: Arrival Nairobi, Transfer To Chylu Hills, Ol Donyo Lodge
Begin your safari from Wilson Airport, Nairobi, ready to board a charter flight to the Chyulu Hills in the Tsavo West National Park.
- At the airstrip, a guide will be there to meet you and transfer you to your lodge, enjoying a game drive en route. After lunch, there will be some time to settle in and head out on an afternoon game drive.
- Spend the next two days exploring the private conservancy on guided game drives and bush walks in search of the Big Five. As it is in a private conservancy, night game drives are allowed, this is a great opportunity to see nocturnally active animals such as Leopard. Experience the bush on horseback, canter alongside the zebra and giraffe. Watch the ever-changing landscape as you ride past on a mountain bike or relax and be pampered with a massage. A Kenyan safari can be as adventurous or as relaxed as you want it to be.
Day 3 – 4: Samburu Game Reserve: Saruni Samburu
Fly to Wilson Airport and connect to Saruni Samburu for 2 nights
- After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Wilson Airport and then onto Samburu.
- Saruni Samburu is actually located 7km north of the reserve and is a luxury, designer lodge. 95 000 Hectares of private conservancy teeming with wildlife surrounds Saruni Samburu. Saruni Samburu has 6 Family and Single Villas – each boasting of large sitting areas and Open verandahs with uninterrupted panoramic views of the wilderness below. Guests can enjoy game drives in Samburu’s own conservancy – Kalama. Saruni offers exclusive luxury and privacy. Game drives are led by professional Samburu guides.
Day 5 – 6: Laikipia Plateau: Segera Retreat
Day 5 begins with a road transfer to Segera Retreat where you will stay for 3 nights
- After breakfast you will be transferred by road to Segera.
- Segera Retreat is located in an oasis on the Laikipia Plateau. Accommodation is in the style of villas made from timber and thatch, nestled in landscaped gardens. Raised wooden platforms overlook the savannah and Mount Kenya. Guests can enjoy cuisine made from home-grown ingredients and a wealth of things to do, such as bush walks, game drives, cultural tours and spending time with anti-poaching staff learning about the methods used to conserve wildlife.
Day 7 – 9: Maasai Mara: Cottars 1920’s Safari Camp
Fly to Cottar’s 1920s Camp for 3 nights
- After breakfast, you will be transferred to Nanyuki for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara where you will enjoy a game drive on your way to the camp.
- Cottar’s 1920s Camp is located a stone’s throw away from the Masai Mara National Reserve in an exclusive concession. Boasting 7 ensuite exclusive safari tents, it’s a sought after camp. Enjoy superb views from the veranda and soak up the luxurious atmosphere of the camp. Furnished with original safari antiques from the 1920s, the camp is a piece of history. Activities include day and night game drives, bush walks, a swimming pool, river swimming and fishing, bush meals, sundowners and massages.
Day 10: Depart
End Of Itinerary
- After breakfast you will be transferred to Keekorok Airstrip to connect with your daily scheduled flight to Wilson Airport. A representative will meet you here and transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to connect with your international flight.
This safari exceeded every expectation! The game drives were incredible, and we saw the Big Five within just a few days. What made it truly unique was the cultural side. The lodges were great, the guides were knowledgeable, and everything was perfectly organized.
I’ve been on safaris before, but this one stood out because of the mix of wildlife, scenery, and local interaction. The guides were friendly and passionate, the food was excellent, and the accommodations were beyond comfortable. I’ll cherish the memories forever.

The cultural visits were eye-opening, The properties had breathtaking views, the combination of wildlife encounters and cultural immersion made this safari truly special.
